Miracle
Balm
This elegant natural “balm” has
multiple uses. Ron Teeguarden created it for his own personal use and for use
by his family and pets. He found it to be so consistently and amazingly
effective that Dragon Herbs now produces it for everybody. The four ingredients,
Sangre de Grado
resin, Emu oil, Shea Butter and Lavender Oil, have all been used for millennia
to benefit the skin and surface tissues.
Sangre de Grado
Sangre de Grado,
literally “Dragon’s Blood,” is the resin from a remarkable
Brazilian rainforest tree, Croton lechleri. Sangre de Grado
resin (sap) has been used for centuries (probably for thousands of years). The
blood-red fluid resin is extremely rich in phytochemicals,
including proanthocyanidins, pycnogenol,
lignans, phytosterols,
phenols, diterpenes and alkaloids. It is used in
Brazilian jungle-herbalism primarily on the skin, for
anything that can happen to the skin on a typical day’s jaunt through the
rainforest. This is certainly one of the miracle plants of the Amazon!
Emu Oil
For thousands of years emus have provided the
Aboriginal Australians with food, clothing and oil believed to have special
properties. Emu oil is used in skin care and beauty products for the body,
skin, nails and hair. It is non-comedogenic (it will
not clog pores). It helps to
promote skin rejuvenation after or along with exfoliation. Emu oil soothes skin
even better than Vitamin E oil. Emu oil is a 100% natural moisturizer.
Shea Butter and Lavender Oil
Shea Butter is the oil derived from the Shea
Tree (traditionally known as the Karite Tree,
literally the Tree of Life. This oil is a natural source of Vitamin A and is a
wonderful moisturizer with exceptional rejuvenating benefits for the skin. Shea
Butter contains a component fraction known as the “healing
fraction.” West African Shea Butter is a superbly rich source of this
component fraction. Lavender Oil is one of the most beneficial topical oils. It is soothing, calming, and benefits the
skin in many ways, plus it provides one of the world’s great fragrances.
We use premium grade Lavender Oil.
Miracle Balm
These incredible agents each have profound
benefits, and when combined into a balm, the resulting product can be virtually
astounding. Miracle Balm can be used to help reduce the appearance of bruises
and stretch marks, to reduce the appearance of scarring, to soften dry cuticles
and to promote healthy-looking nails. It may also be used to rejuvenate chapped
lips and everyday dry skin and to improve the appearance of wrinkles, age
spots, and dry hair. Dragon Herbs uses the finest quality emu oil, 100% pure
Brazilian Sangre de Grado sap and Grade A Shea Butter and Lavender Oil to make Miracle Balm. Dragon
Herbs uses no preservatives or additives of any sort in the making of Miracle
Balm. Miracle Balm is non-toxic. It is suitable for application to any part of
the body except the eyes. Miracle Balm is gentle enough to use around or inside
the mouth, nose or other sensitive tissues.*
