White tea is the first sprouted buds of early
spring, the white baby tea leaves which are most tender and require extreme
care in picking. When
picked, the buds have not opened and are still covered with silky silvery-white
“down.” The delicate
nature of the leaves mandates gentle, hands-only handling – no machinery
is ever used to pick Dragon Herbs white tea buds which are never stacked or turned
during the drying process to prevent breakage and loss of essence. White tea is
the least processed form of tea, has the lowest amount of caffeine, is rich in polyphenols and provides the highest level of antioxidants
of all tea and creates a lovely, light brew. Certified organic.*
