Bromelain is obtained from the lower stems of the pineapple plant. Bromelain is a proteolytic enzyme extracted from pineapple that efficiently hydrolyzes most soluble proteins. It can be a useful digestive aid when consuming a protein rich meal. Our bromelain is a high potency bromelain providing 960 GDU (a measure of the enzyme’s activity) per capsule.
