The 5 stage filter fits within the Santevia Gravity System, executing steps 2 to 6 of the 8-stage Gravity filtration process. Each stage was selected with the single intention of giving you the finest, cleanest, greatest-tasting mineralized alkaline water possible. Filter will last up to 6 months.

The 5 Filtration Stages:

Filter 1 (Stage 2): Granular Activated Coconut Carbon

This filter utilizes porous coconut carbon charcoal for an astounding 65 acres of purifying surface area. It filters chlorine, herbicides, pesticides, pharmaceuticals, industrial chemicals, trihalomethanes (THMs), heavy metals, organic chemicals, odour, taste, colour and particulates. This stage also contains a KDF filter medium that inhibits the growth of bacteria in the filter and neutralizes heavy metals.

Filter 2 (Stage 3): Silica Sand

This stage inhibits bacteria and neutralizes heavy metals such as lead, nickel, cadmium and mercury through an ion exchange process. It filters detergents, ammonium, agricultural chemicals as well as some types of radioactive ions and toxins.

Filter 3 (Stage 4): Mineral Stone Infusion

In this stage, porous Maifan mineral stones infuse ionized minerals into the water, promoting oxygenation and alkalization.

Filter 4 (Stage 5): pH Mineral Balls

Mineral ions encased in diatomaceous earth add calcium, magnesium and other trace minerals to fortify the water and increase the pH.

Filter 5 (Stage 6): Energy Balls

Energy Balls, constructed by mixing earth and mineral oxides before comprising and firing them, assist with pH balancing and emit beneficial infrared energy into the water.

The 7th stage in the Santevia Gravity System is a combination of Maifan Stones and bio-ceramic energy balls. During this stage in the process, mineral stones continuously release easily absorbed, ionized minerals into the water, including calcium, iron, magnesium, potassium, zinc and other trace minerals. When removed from its source of alkalinity, the pH of water will decrease. The purpose of these stones it to maintain the alkalinity of your water, while adding trace minerals. They mimic the natural effect of the rocks that line fresh mountain streams, and generate the same fresh, great tasting water.
